I was approached by the creator of the PlayScore 2 App to create a product review.

Here's a little background on the PlayScore 2 app:

PlayScore 2 is a sheet music scanning app for mobile devices. It has revolutionized music education by its ability to play printed music accurately from a photo or a PDF score.

You can download PlayScore free and play a page of music instantly by tapping the camera icon.

Users can adjust and mute parts, and play along to their score

Music directors can create playable rehearsal scores and send to musicians who access their parts via the free PlayScore 2 download.

The premium features allow you to export scores to notation software to arrange music. The app has 19 instrument sounds to choose from (including saxophone) and you can transpose accordingly.

PlayScore 2 app won the Bronze Award for the Educational App category at the 2021 Reimagine Education Awards (among education apps of all kinds).

The app is used all over the world, especially in the USA and Europe.

In my product review of the PlayScore 2 app, I covered importing some of my own scores, using the transposing features (especially important for instruments that transpose, like trumpet and saxophone), accuracy of the rhythms, and more.
