Taps is an important bugle call that every trumpeter should know.
In the following video, I demonstrate Taps in the key of C for Trumpet (Concert Bb), which is the standard key.
I also perform it in a lower key for beginner trumpeters, the key of G (Concert F). It is important that you can move your 3rd valve slide out because you will be playing the call using only 1st and 3rd valves pressed down, and these notes are very sharp in pitch.
